December 15, 2023: Pinckney, MI 48169 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) and the host Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI), saw Midland's basketball squad overcome Pinckney by a tally of 60-48.
With the victory, Midland improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Chemics travel to Dow (Midland, MI) to play the Chargers in a Saginaw Valley challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Dow won 47-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Hemlock (Hemlock, MI)
Next up, the Pirates play the Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Pinckney will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 55-21 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, MI).
