The Millbrook Wildcats basketball team (Raleigh, NC), was nudged 53-51 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC)

The Spartans now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakefield for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Sanderson will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-2.

The Wildcats (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Independence edged Garinger (Charlotte, NC), 73-25, in a league battle.
