North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mount Vernon Knights (Mount Vernon, NY), 60-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Rockland upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Raiders host Binghamton (Binghamton, NY) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Port Chester Rams (Port Chester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
