California High School Basketball - Valley Christian crushes Newark Memorial
December 15, 2023: Newark, CA 94560 Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 58-17 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA) to play the Red Tailed Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Red Tailed Hawks go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Tamalpais won 52-27 in their recent non-league bout against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Newark Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 52-27 non-league loss to Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA).
