Florida High School Basketball - South Broward nips Stranahan
December 15, 2023: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 South Broward Bulldogs (Hollywood, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stranahan Mighty Dragons (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 1-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Broward upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to McArthur (Hollywood, FL) to play the Mustangs in a 6A District 15 bout on Monday, December 18. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-1. McArthur won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pompano Beach (Pompano Beach, FL)
Next up, the Mighty Dragons play the South Plantation Paladins (Plantation, FL) in a 6A District 15 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Stranahan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Paladins go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 56-18 non-league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
