Texas High School Basketball - Spearman nips Stratford
December 15, 2023: Spearman, TX 79081 Spearman Lynx (Spearman, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stratford Elks (Stratford, TX), 30-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spearman upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Lynx travel to Nazareth (Nazareth, TX) to play the Swifts in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Swifts go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Nazareth won 63-43 in their recent non-league bout against Vega (Vega, TX)
Next up, the Elks play the Claude Mustangs (Claude, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Stratford will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 68-17 non-league win over Accelerate Christian (Amarillo, TX).
