O'Neal Falcons (Southern Pines, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC), 66-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, O'Neal upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Lion play the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 58-12 non-league win over Cary Academy (Cary, NC).
