Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Merion Mercy Academy nips Agnes Irwin
December 15, 2023: Merion Station, PA 19066 Merion Mercy Academy Golden Bears (Merion Station, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Agnes Irwin Owls (Rosemont, PA), 25-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Merion Mercy Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA) to play the Monarchs in a bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Gwynedd Mercy Academy lost 51-27 in their recent non-league bout against Methacton (Norristown, PA)
Next up, the Owls play the Springside (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Agnes Irwin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
