North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus ripped by Marvin Ridge
December 15, 2023: Concord, NC 28027 In Friday's non-league bout, the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks basketball squad scored a big 55-12 win over the West Cabarrus Wolverines.
With the win, Marvin Ridge betters its record to 7-0 on the year. The Mavericks host Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to meet the Pirates in a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 1-2.
The Wolverines (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, South Iredell was crushed by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 49-10, in a non-league outing.
