Arizona High School Basketball - Campo Verde nips Mesquite
December 15, 2023: Gilbert, AZ 85233 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), saw Campo Verde's basketball squad hold off Mesquite by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Campo Verde improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) in a challenge, on Friday, January 5. Mesquite will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Sabercats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-26 non-league loss to American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ).
