The Highland Tech Rams basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles to 31 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burns for a contest on Wednesday, January 3.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC). The Fire enter the contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Christian Family Academy ran past Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC), 47-20, in a league contest.
