California High School Basketball - Yreka can't hold off Sutter
December 15, 2023: Yreka, CA 96097 The Sutter Huskies basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Yreka Miners to 43 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Las Plumas for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Sutter will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 51-23 non-league win over Colusa (Colusa, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-4.
The Miners (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Colusa (Colusa, CA). The RedHawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Colusa was nudged by Las Plumas (Oroville, CA), 51-23, in a non-league contest.
