The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles got by the host Battle Mountain Huskies ice hockey squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

With the victory, Mountain Vista moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO) to face the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Huskies now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aspen for a bout on Saturday, December 16. Battle Mountain will face a Skiers squad coming off a 1-1 league Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO). The Skiers record now stands at 0-0.
