California High School Soccer - Walnut nudges Arroyo Valley
December 15, 2023: San Bernardino, CA 92411 Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Arroyo Valley Hawks (San Bernardino, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Wilson Wildcats (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a Hacienda challenge, on Monday, December 18. Walnut will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Whitney (Cerritos, CA).
The Hawks now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Quinta for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22.
