Kentucky High School Basketball - Taylor County fells Seneca
December 15, 2024: Louisville, KY 40220 The Taylor County Cardinals basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Seneca Red Hawks to 67 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Cardinals now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Mercer County for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Taylor County will confront a Titans team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY). The Titans record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Seneca falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Red hawks host Trinity (Louisville, KY) to confront the Shamrocks in a District 27 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Shamrocks go into the game with a record of 3-2. Trinity lost 50-41 in their recent non-league game against Princeton (Cincinnati, OH)
