California High School Basketball - West Valley bested by Hemet
December 15, 2025: Hemet, CA 92544 Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), 60-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hemet advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA) to face the Eagles in a Ivy match on Wednesday, December 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-7. Valley View won 75-45 in their recent non-league match against Jurupa Valley (Jurupa Valley, CA)
The Mustangs now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temescal Canyon for a Mountain Pass match on Tuesday, December 16. West Valley will face a Titans squad coming off a 70-41 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Titans record now stands at 5-7.
