California High School Basketball - Vista trounced by Mt. Carmel
December 15, 2025: San Diego, CA 92129 Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Vista Panthers (Vista, CA), 102-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Carmel advances its record to 3-6 on the year. The Sundevils host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 6-6. Steele Canyon lost 80-39 in their recent non-league match against St. Augustine (San Diego, CA)
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 19. Vista will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 69-40 non-league loss to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA).
