Arizona High School Basketball - Coronado can't hold off Saguaro

December 15, 2025: Scottsdale, AZ 85250

Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), 34-29 in a non-league contest.

The Sabercats (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Thunderbird nipped Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ), 53-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Dons battle the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon contest, on Tuesday, January 6. Coronado will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Colts go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 69-17 non-league loss to Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ).
