December 15, 2025: Pomfret, MD 20675 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) and the visiting Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), witnessed McDonough's basketball squad rout Crossland by a count of 63-22.
With the victory, McDonough advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Rams travel to Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to battle the Panthers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, December 17. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Patuxent lost 54-21 in their recent league challenge against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD)
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the International High School at Largo Sea Turtles (Largo, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Crossland will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Sea Turtles come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 20-7 league loss to Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD).
