December 16, 2021: Sunnyvale, CA 94087 The Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors basketball team (San Jose, CA), was routed 67-22 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA)
The Firebirds now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gunn for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino battle on Friday, December 17. Fremont will battle a Titans team coming off a 63-32 non-league win over Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA). The Titans record now stands at 7-1.
The Aztec Warriors (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Homestead was routed by Independence (San Jose, CA), 47-40, in a non-league battle.
