The The Burlington School Spartans basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting High Point Christian Academy Cougars to 45 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Math Civics & Sciences for a non-league contest on Friday, December 17. The Burlington School will meet a Mighty Elephants team coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Winston-Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Mighty Elephants record now stands at 4-0.
The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, North Raleigh Christian Academy triumphed over South Wake (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 67-61, in a non-league contest.
