December 16, 2021: Arcola, IL 61910 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL) and the host Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL), saw Tuscola's basketball squad knock off Arcola by a tally of 49-40.
With the victory, Tuscola improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 20. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Okaw Valley lost 55-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL)
Next up, the Purple Riders play the Villa Grove Blue Devils (Villa Grove, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie challenge, on Monday, December 20. Arcola will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 52-17 non-league loss to Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL).
