Missouri High School Basketball - Nevada nips Carthage
December 16, 2021: Nevada, MO 64772 Nevada Tigers (Nevada, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO), 42-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Nevada upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Cassville (Cassville, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 4. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Tigers play the Ozark Tigers (Ozark, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 27. Carthage will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 54-40 non-league loss to West Plains (West Plains, MO).
