California High School Basketball - El Modena tops Orange
December 16, 2021: Orange, CA 92867 El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Orange Panthers (Orange, CA), 49-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, El Modena upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 18. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Segerstrom lost 61-24 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Century Centurions (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Orange will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Centurions come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 49-24 non-league loss to Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA).
