The Normal Community Ironmen basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Washington Panthers to 45 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Ironmen now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Urbana for a Big Twelve contest on Saturday, December 18. Normal Community will meet a Tigers team coming off a 40-29 non-league loss to Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-10.

The Panthers (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Rochester nudged Taylorville (Taylorville, IL), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
