Illinois High School Basketball - Okaw Valley nips Sullivan
December 16, 2021: Bethany, IL 61914 Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL), 48-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Okaw Valley upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. LeRoy lost 38-30 in their recent league bout against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL)
Next up, the Redskins play the Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 18. Sullivan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 40-27 league loss to Freeburg (Freeburg, IL).
