Texas High School Basketball - Estacado overwhelms Alpine
December 16, 2022: Alpine, TX 79830 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) and the host Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX), saw Estacado's basketball squad wallop Alpine by a tally of 87-34.
With the victory, Estacado improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Austin (El Paso, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Austin won 80-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
Next up, the Bucks confront the Crane Cranes (Crane, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge, on Monday, December 19. Alpine will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cranes come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to Trinity (Midland, TX).
