December 16, 2022: Anson, TX 79501 The Gordon Longhorns (Gordon, TX) basketball crushed the host Anson Tigers (Anson, TX), 48-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Azle Christian (Azle, TX). The Fighting Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Azle Christian walloped Eagle Christian Academy (Waco, TX), 51-18, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Cisco for a 2A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, December 20. Anson will encounter a Loboes squad coming off a 61-45 non-league win over Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Loboes record now stands at 9-4.
