Texas High School Basketball - Argyle edges Horn
December 16, 2022: Argyle, TX 76226 The Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX), 42-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Colleyville Heritage was tipped by Sachse (Sachse, TX), 59-58, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Mesquite for a 6A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, December 20. Horn will encounter a Skeeters squad coming off a 75-42 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Skeeters record now stands at 1-9.
