Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Arroyo Valley Hawks (San Bernardino, CA) and the visiting Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA), saw Arroyo Valley's basketball squad overcome Serrano by a tally of 55-40.

With the victory, Arroyo Valley improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Rim of the World (Lake Arrowhead, CA) to play the Fighting Scots in a San Andreas challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Fighting Scots come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
