December 16, 2022: Onawa, IA 51040 The West Monona Spartans basketball team (Onawa, IA), was nudged 56-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers (Bancroft, NE)
The Panthers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Calhoun for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. Bancroft-Rosalie will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 37-17 non-league loss to Yutan (Yutan, NE). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-3.
The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Boyer Valley was nudged by CAM (Anita, IA), 79-54, in a non-league battle.
