The Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS), 73-62 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Emporia went down by Great Bend (Great Bend, KS), 66-65, in a non-league test.

The Cyclones now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kauffman for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5.
