Illinois High School Basketball - Richards can't hold off Brooks
December 16, 2022: Oak Lawn, IL 60453 The Brooks Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Richards Bulldogs to 61 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Englewood Stem for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Brooks will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-39 non-league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus (Chicago, IL). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus nudged Wolcott School (Chicago, IL), 63-30, in a league contest.
