December 16, 2022: Newton, MA 02459 The Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons (Cambridge, MA) basketball crushed the host Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), 54-30 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA). The Warriors go into the Dual County - Large test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Sudbury walloped Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA), 61-56, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Boston Latin for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Newton South will encounter a Wolfpack squad coming off a 65-48 league loss to Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-1.
