North Carolina High School Basketball - Cape Fear edges Overhills

December 16, 2022: Spring Lake, NC 28390

The Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) basketball nipped the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 61-57 in Friday's non-league test.

The Colts (4-3) will now prepare for their test against New Life Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 14-7 record.

The Jaguars now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Harnett Central for a 3A/4A Conference 23 test on Tuesday, December 20. Overhills will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 54-48 non-league loss to Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-6.
