The Franklin Flyers basketball team (Franklin, NE), was toppled 37-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE)

The Dragons now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelton for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 5.

The Flyers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller beat Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE), 66-39, in a league battle.
