Arkansas High School Basketball - Forrest City thwarts Manila
December 16, 2022: Manila, AR 72442 The Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR) basketball knocked off the host Manila Lions (Manila, AR), 73-59 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 14-0 record. In their last test, Greene County Tech notched a victory over Rivercrest (Wilson, AR), 75-25, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bergman for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Manila will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 65-47 league win over Elkins (Elkins, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 12-1.
