Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA), 75-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ruston upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Neville (Monroe, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Neville lost 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA)
