The Lorena Leopards basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Taylor Ducks to 43 in the Leopards non-league victory on Friday.

The Leopards now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McGregor for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, December 20. Lorena will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 82-66 non-league loss to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.

The Ducks (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against La Grange (La Grange, TX). The Leopards come into the 4A Region III District 22 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, La Grange prevailed over Bellville (Bellville, TX), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
