Texas High School Basketball - New Boston ripped by Magnolia
December 16, 2022: New Boston, TX 75570 The Magnolia Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and held the host New Boston Lions to 30 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Dorado for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Magnolia will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 69-60 league loss to Benton (Benton, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.
The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksville (Clarksville, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Clarksville triumphed over North Lamar (Paris, TX), 57-53, in a non-league contest.
