In Friday's non-league outing, the Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA), by a margin of 66-34.

The Chieftains (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Buchanan smashed Davis (Davis, CA), 60-57, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to San Lorenzo Valley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 20. Monte Vista Christian will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 50-46 non-league loss to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
