The Morton Indians basketball team (Morton, TX), dropped 53-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX)

The Mules now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamesa for a 3A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, December 20. Muleshoe will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 13-1.

The Indians (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Whitharral (Whitharral, TX). The Panthers come into the 1A Region I District 7 battle with a 1-3 record.
