Virginia High School Basketball - St. Michael the Archangel knocked off by New Covenant

December 16, 2022: Fredericksburg, VA 22407

The New Covenant Gryphons basketball team scored 61 points and held the host St. Michael the Archangel Warriors to 50 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gryphons now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian School for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. New Covenant will battle a Kings team coming off a 73-58 non-league win over The New Community School (Richmond, VA). The Kings record now stands at 10-2.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against The New Community School (Richmond, VA). The Sabers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, The New Community School was defeated by Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 73-58, in a non-league contest.
