The Springs Valley Blackhawks basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Perry Central Commodores to 60 in the Blackhawks league victory on Friday.

The Blackhawks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loogootee for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Springs Valley will battle a Lions team coming off a 41-39 league win over South Knox (Vincennes, IN). The Lions record now stands at 5-2.

The Commodores (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lanesville (Lanesville, IN). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Lanesville was nudged by Henryville (Henryville, IN), 59-30, in a league contest.
