Texas High School Basketball - Tioga topped by Pilot Point
December 16, 2022: Tioga, TX 76271 The Pilot Point Bearcats basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Tioga to 37 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Bearcats now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, December 20. Pilot Point will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 57-44 non-league win over Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-7.
The (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX). The Knights come into the 2A Region II District 13 contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Lindsay prevailed over Lexington (Lexington, OK), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
