The Jefferson Panthers basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Anaconda Copperheads to 74 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manhattan for a B District 5 contest on Saturday, December 17. Jefferson will battle a Tigers team coming off a 41-30 non-league loss to Manhattan Christian (Manhattan, MT). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

The Copperheads (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Powell County (Deer Lodge, MT). The Wardens come into the B District 6 contest with a 0-5 record.
