The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Armijo Royals to 35 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Natomas for a Greater Sacramento contest on Monday, January 9.

The Royals (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Bethel ran past Richmond (Richmond, CA), 35-19, in a league contest.
