Covina Colts (Covina, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA), 60-10 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Covina upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Colts host West Covina (West Covina, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Valle Vista bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-10. West Covina lost 34-22 in their recent non-league bout against Avalon (Avalon, CA)

Next up, the Aztecs play the Gladstone Gladiators (Covina, CA) in a Montview bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Azusa will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 61-19 non-league loss to Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA).
