Oregon High School Basketball - South Medford thwarts Corvallis
December 16, 2022: Medford, OR 97501 The South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR), 68-52 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Crescent Valley notched a victory over South Albany (Albany, OR), 46-32, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dallas for a 5A Mid-Willamette test on Tuesday, January 3. Corvallis will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 30-21 non-league loss to Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR). The Dragons record now stands at 0-4.
