Oklahoma High School Basketball - Elgin fells Newcastle
December 16, 2022: Newcastle, OK 73065 Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK), 43-24 in a league bout.
With the win, Elgin upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Owls host Cache (Cache, OK) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Western bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Cache lost 93-30 in their recent league bout against Bethany (Bethany, OK)
Next up, the Racers clash with the Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK) in a Western bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Newcastle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bronchos go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 93-30 league win over Cache (Cache, OK).
